Saturday position for Tiki Blue

Tiki Blue's postition using the SPOT coordinates follows:

8:01 am-Saturday

35.21-150.00

Looks like they should start heading on a more easterly course looking at weather forecasts. We hope to connect with them via SSB on Tuesday when David is back in Kaneohe.

Unfortunately Flagship tracking device is still not working even thought Tim says he turned it on and green light is on. Looks like Ed and Earlinda sailing back on Neptune's Daughter will arrive SF bay today. Welcome home!

Tiki Blue at 25.47 - 155.54

Tiki Blue is underway at current position of 25.47 - 155.54. Tim (skipper) spoke with Dave Nottage via SSB (Kaneohe) and indicated they are sailing 20 - 30 degrees depending on squalls. Wind is very nice at 75 deg at 15 to 20 knots. Current conditions are too bouncy for dinner so crew is on weight loss mode waiting for calmer seas. Flagship website is not showing any tracking so we are not sure if the transponder is on, however Tim says they turned it on properly. As a secondary tracking measure they have SPOT on board and I'm tracking them on that site which I will link to this blog if the Flagship device does not work.

Tiki Blue leaves Kaneohe today heading back to RYC

Delivery skipper Tim Murison and crew has departed Kaneohe bay today headed for Tiki Blue's home port RYC. Owner Gary Troxel is very happy that his boat is 16-18 days away from getting back to its slip at RYC.

We will be tracking it and hope to get some updates on SSB connection via Dave Nottage who provided a temporary home for Tiki Blue at his home and private dock in Kaneohe.
