Farallon Islands Race 2012
A race that will not be forgotten. The mist and spray of Pacific swell is sweet but powerful, never to be underestimated. Prayers to those who lost their lives and the family and friends that remain ever present with heavy hearts. We completed the race and returned to RYC, somber, tired but hopeful that survivors would be found. As the tragedy unfolded 5 of the 8 crew on Low Speed Chase lost their lives.
I still love sailing and being out on the ocean but realize its natural state, while beautiful and seductive, can turn to hell and fury unexpectedly with horrible consequences.
RIP- Low Speed Chase

Great ground support is an important part of Team Tiki
Ground support is imperative and I'm lucky to have a wife that preps the food and makes all the travel arrangements. We already have our place to stay when we arrive thanks to Kelly!
